What is AFCAT?

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for AFCAT, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria

Nationality
Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit
Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years
Technical Branch 20 to 26 years
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch 20 to 26 years
Age relaxation is applicable for candidates with specific qualifications or experience.

Educational Qualifications
Flying Branch  Graduation (any discipline) with a minimum of 60% marks and a valid score in the AFCAT exam. Candidates must also qualify for the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
Technical Branch. Engineering degree with a minimum of 60% marks in relevant disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, etc.).
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch
Administration. Graduation with 60% marks.
  Logistics. Graduation with 60% marks.
  Accounts. B.Com degree with 60% marks.
  Education. Post-graduation with 50% marks.

Physical and Medical Standards
Candidates must meet the IAF's physical and medical standards, including height, weight, and vision requirements.


AFCAT Exam Pattern
The AFCAT exam consists of 100 questions divided into four sections. Each question carries 3 marks, and the total marks are 300.
